Addressing complex urban environmental challenges through integrated solutions for waste, water, biodiversity, and environmental education.
The Mumbai initiative focuses on making one of India’s most dynamic cities more resilient and environmentally responsible. EdEn collaborates with civic bodies, schools, and community groups to address critical challenges related to waste management, water systems, biodiversity conservation, and climate awareness.
The project integrates eco-design principles and education-driven interventions into urban systems. School programs build environmental literacy among young citizens, while community initiatives promote responsible waste segregation, reduced plastic use, and improved water stewardship.
Urban greening, biodiversity protection, and nature-based solutions form an important part of the approach, especially in ecologically sensitive zones. Through partnerships and on-ground implementation, the initiative demonstrates how large cities can balance growth with environmental responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Resilient cities are built when people and nature thrive together.
